It doesn’t begin with the plum, or end with the bottle.
It’s shaped by values that don’t show on the label — but are there in every drop.
Good things don’t happen quickly. We don’t rush either. The rakija we make knows when the moment is right, and we respect that.
Good taste doesn’t need an explanation. Just repetition. That’s why we treat every detail the same, with care and precision.
The most important things happen when no one is speaking.
That’s why we don’t make noise about quality. You feel it, you don’t explain it.
Every year. Every plum. The same attention. We don’t change the recipe — we keep perfecting it.
The slopes of Golija is where it all began.We built our home and, thus, setting the basics for our tradition that will last through generations.
Shortly, we planted our first plum tree rows whose fruits were nurtured by wind and Sun of Golija, giving them a unique quality and taste that will become the essence of our brandy.
During these years we started using barrels for preserving rakija. Since then, our barrels guard our brandy and became the symbol of persistency and commitment.
Over time, the distilling methods were carried forward from father to son. Thus, the methods became more and more improved through generations that continued to write new pages of our distillatory story with the same respect for the land and fruit.
In 90s, a desire for distilling rakija professionally, that matured over years, likewise brandy in barrel, and waited a suitable moment to be represented in full glory, was born.
Over time, we decided to breed something serious, thus creating a brand that will be a bridge between tradition and innovation.
Our first quality assurance was at local competition when Goljska suza won the silver medal.
We started the construction of our distillery, on the land where our story began, on the slopes of Golija in the village of Trnava.
Although we share memorable moments from our beginnings with our old packaging, we decided it was time for new appearance that will reflect our quality and spirit of our brand.
